Finding Haki trainers and endgame upgrade NPCs in Roblox Legacy Piece can be a challenge when you’re navigating the ocean without a convenient in-game map. Missing a trainer or overlooking a quest requirement can turn an otherwise simple upgrade into a long detour between islands.
This guide maps out the key locations for Armament Haki, Ryou, Observation Haki, and advanced gear enhancement. 1. Armament Haki & Ryou: From V1 to Max Armament
Armament Haki is an important upgrade for players who want to improve their combat damage and fight opponents with Logia-type abilities. Its progression involves two separate destinations, so plan to complete the initial unlock before traveling to the endgame trainer.
Armament Haki V1: Ice Land / Haki Island
- Location: Ice Land, sometimes referred to as “Haki Island” in some guides.
- NPC Trainer: Ex-Shogun Daichi, also reported as Rayleigh.
Start by sailing toward the snowy region and using your compass to identify the correct island. Once there, locate the Haki trainer and begin the Armament questline.
Requirements
- Find the Armament Scroll: Search behind a tree near the trainer to locate the required item.
- Pay 2,500 Beli: Have the necessary currency ready before proceeding.
- Defeat King Gorilla and King Lion: Clear both boss encounters as part of the unlock process.
- Defeat 20 Beggars: These kills must be made with Combat or fighting-style attacks rather than fruit or weapon abilities.
- Use a combat skill 100 times: Repeatedly activate the appropriate skill until the counter is complete. Completing these objectives unlocks the first stage of Armament Haki.
Grinding tip: Assign a suitable combat or fighting-style ability to your Z skill slot and use auto-cast if the game supports it. This can reduce the amount of manual input required during the 100-use task.
Ryou Haki / Max Armament: Legacy Island
- Location: Legacy Island.
- NPC Trainer: Rio, the Armament NPC.
The next stage is designed for players who are already comfortable with the game’s core combat systems. Travel to Legacy Island and locate the Armament trainer to begin the extended progression requirements.
Requirements
- Use combat skills 500 times: Keep activating a qualifying combat or fighting-style ability until you meet the total.
- Defeat 2,000 NPCs: These enemies can be farmed on any island, so choose an area where you can defeat them efficiently. Finishing this grind unlocks Armament Haki V2, also known as Ryou.
Ryou is very important for advanced damage builds. If you are preparing for Extreme Boss encounters, you should prioritize it because higher Haki progression contributes to the damage scaling needed for endgame setups targeting multipliers in the 700% range.
2. Observation Haki (Kenbunshoku)
While Armament Haki supports your offensive progression, Observation Haki offers a defensive advantage by helping you avoid incoming attacks. That makes it especially useful when fighting powerful raid bosses, including Sukuna and Gojo.
Observation Haki I: Hollow Land
- Location: Hollow Land.
- NPC Trainer: Enel.
Travel to Hollow Land and find Enel to start the Observation Haki quest. Your first objective is relatively straightforward compared with the longer Armament progression.
Requirement
- Defeat 20 Hollows on Hollow Land.
Make sure your kills count toward the quest before moving elsewhere. Once the objective is complete, return to the trainer or follow the quest prompt to finish the unlock.
Observation Haki II: Hollow Land
You don’t need to travel to another island for the second stage. Continue your progression on Hollow Land and prepare to fight a stronger opponent.
Requirement
- Defeat the Shinigami boss five times.
Repeated boss fights can take longer than ordinary enemy farming, so prepare your combat setup before starting the task. Focus on completing the five required defeats instead of switching between unrelated activities. With both stages unlocked, you will get access to the Observation Haki progression needed for more demanding encounters.
3. Gear Enhancement & Mastery Progression
Haki is only one part of a well-developed endgame build. Weapon and equipment upgrades can also unlock additional benefits, making enhancement an important step before investing heavily in rare gems or advanced traits.
Enchantment NPC: Ice Land
- Location: Ice Land.
Before visiting the endgame upgrade NPC, take your weapons and other eligible equipment to the Enchantment NPC. This system allows qualifying gear to be enhanced up to +10.
Reaching that level is important because it activates the item’s latent passive effects, rather than simply improving its basic values. Leaving useful equipment below the required enhancement threshold can therefore prevent you from accessing part of its potential.
Before spending materials, check which items you intend to keep for your final build. Prioritizing your strongest long-term equipment can save resources that would otherwise go toward temporary replacements.
Sovereign of Fates: Gear Ascension & Gems
- Location: Ice Land.
The Sovereign of Fates is an important step for players moving into advanced gear optimization. Look for the distinctive, tall Mink NPC with bunny-like ears near a large structure and wall. After enhancing your eligible equipment to +10, use the Sovereign system to pursue further upgrades. Its main functions include:
- Gear Ascension: Advance eligible equipment to SSS or Kami rank.
- Gem Application: Add Secret and Legendary gems to strengthen your build.
- Stat Optimization: Improve offensive performance through bonuses such as critical damage and other damage multipliers.
Examples of valuable gem options include ABL Secret and CRT Secret. The best choices depend on your build, so prioritize stats that directly benefit your main damage source rather than collecting upgrades without a clear purpose.
4. The Most Efficient Haki & Mastery Route
Completing the progression systems in a sensible order can reduce unnecessary sailing and help you avoid farming requirements before you’re ready.
- Step 1: Complete Armament Haki V1. Start on Ice Land and finish the initial questline, including the required boss fights, Beggar defeats, and combat-skill uses.
- Step 2: Unlock Observation Haki. Visit Enel on Hollow Land, defeat the required Hollows, and then complete the Shinigami boss objective for the second stage.
- Step 3: Return to Legacy Island for Ryou. Once you’re ready for a longer grind, speak with the Armament NPC and work through the 500 combat-skill activations and 2,000 NPC defeats.
- Step 4: Enhance Your Main Equipment. Go back to Ice Land and upgrade your preferred weapons and other eligible gear to +10. Confirm that the equipment you invest in fits your intended build.
- Step 5: Ascend and Apply Gems. Visit the Sovereign of Fates to pursue higher gear ranks and apply suitable gems. This final stage is especially relevant when you’re optimizing damage for Extreme Bosses.

Haki progression and gear enhancement are essential steps toward building a stronger Legacy Piece character. The key is to prepare before each trip: know which NPC you’re looking for, understand the quest requirements, and equip the correct combat abilities before beginning a long grind.
