The fantasy world of Naruto has captured the hearts and souls of millions of people worldwide, thanks to its beautiful tale and roster of characters. For anime fans, Naruto Shippuden is a brand-new mobile MMORPG that closely follows the Shippuden arc of Naruto. Players can choose characters from the series, and play with them in real-time to defeat enemies and bosses. But firstly, check out all the characters available at the time of launch and how to recruit them below!
What are Playable Characters in Naruto Shippuden?
We will not beat around the bushes with the honest truth – there are only 3 playable characters in Naruto Shippuden. The playable characters are the Team 7 members – Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno. Each character boasts a unique playstyle, much like how classes work in other MMORPGs. Each character is built different, and has access to different active/passive abilities. For those unaware, combat works in real-time action, with players being able to locate both their own character and the enemy on the screen.

The playable characters are the only characters that can engage in combat. Players unlock all the 3 characters from the start at the get go. You can switch between them as well, like a team. Although, it’s not recommended as it can lead to disruptions in boss fights.

In Conclusion
All in all, Naruto Shippuden is a great way to pass your time, especially if you like the overarching Shippuden arc of Naruto. Our take is that NAR game should gradually introduce more new characters to the current roster as many other characters besides the original Team 7 are fan-favourites. It’s a great thing that all characters are currently made free to play for all players but more diversity is needed.
