South Korea-based mobile games developer and publisher Joycity announced recently that is has acquired a massive USD 40 million investment from global games publisher Tilting Point. If you did not know, Tilting Point is one of the biggest games publishers in the mobile space, last recording USD 48 million in revenue in 2018.
Joycity is using this war chest to mainly boost the global marketing efforts of Gunship Battle: Total Warfare, one of its best performing global titles. One of the lofty goals is to become the first Korean game company to have a representative at the top of the US mobile game market. Joycity also claims that Gunship Battle: Total Warfare has over 100 million global downloads with 14 languages available in 155 countries
