In my opinion, Seal Online is perhaps one of the most mismanaged game IP in the world of Free-to-Play MMORPG. Developed by YNK Interactive, now known as Playwith, the original game is still running with a few unsuccessful mobile games launched over the years. The most recent mobile version is Seal Online M, developed by a little Chinese studio and only launched in Taiwan last week. As expected, it aims to milk players dry in all its features, but I couldn’t help but to give it a short spin. The original 4 classes, familiar monsters, locations, and even graphics are all in Seal Online M. There is nothing really unique other than the nostalgia for the IP itself, so it is not a huge miss even with no global launch.
