At the annual awards ceremony organized by Google Play in Japan, Fire Emblem Heroes was given the Best Game of 2017 award in the country. Representatives from both developers, Nintendo EPD and Intelligent Systems, were on stage to accept the award. claiming they were surprised at the win. Fire Emblem Heroes is currently no.7 in Japan’s top grossing chart and no.87 in the download chart (games category). Come to think of it, there was a time when Nintendo insisted mobile games will kill its hardware business…
