If you did not know, the annual Game Developers Conference (GDC) is starting today, where game companies from all over the world gather to talk business. Korean developer Action Square will be at the event showcasing Blade 2, sequel to the now-defunct Blade: Sword of Elysion. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, it seems Action Square is still looking for publishers in China and the global market.
Blade 2 is also equipped with the Vulkan API, which helps providing high-performance realtime 3D graphics on mobile devices with more balanced CPU/GPU usage. New combo skills are introduced in Blade 2, including enhance quick time events and PVP action. Attendees of GDC 2017 are the first group of people who are able to try the game out. Action Square hopes to launch Blade 2 this year.
