Slayers 2 Tier List: Best Clans, Breathing Styles & Demon Arts

Your character’s Clan, combat style, and abilities determine how you approach almost every fight in Roblox Slayers 2. A Wind Breathing specialist with Shinazugawa benefits from a very different setup than a demon using Pyrokinesis or Shockwave. Choosing compatible abilities can improve everything from combo pressure and mobility to survivability and boss damage. This guide ranks the available Clans, Breathing Styles, and Blood Demon Arts separately, taking both PvP and PvE performance into account.

1. Slayers 2 Clan Tier List

Clans influence more than your character’s stats. Higher-rarity families can provide unique passives, active abilities, damage bonuses, defensive effects, and special interactions with certain Breathing Styles or Blood Demon Arts.

TIER CLANS MAIN STRENGTH
S Uzui, Kamado, Shinazugawa, Rengoku, Soyama, Tamayo, Himejima Outstanding all-round performance, damage, defense, and specialist synergies
A Tomioka, Agatsuma, Kocho, Shabana, Iguro, Douma, Urokodaki, Sabito Strong combat passives and style-specific advantages
B Ubuyashiki, Makomo, Yahaba, Susumaru, Kaneki, Yamagiri, Kurotsume, Aoshima, Aori Useful progression bonuses and more specialized effects
C Yukimori, Kanzaki, Mori, Kurosaki, Hozumi, Aokawa, Saito, Tsukino, Ando, Suzuki, Kuroaki, Fujiwara, Sakurai, Hagiwara, Kazetani, Fukukoshi, Toka Basic stat improvements and limited combat utility

S-Tier Clan Highlights

These Clans offer some of the strongest combinations of passive stats and combat abilities. They’re excellent long-term targets, although most of them require a specific playstyle to reach their full potential.

Uzui (Supreme)

  • Best for: General progression, PvP, and stamina-focused builds

Uzui is one of the most versatile Clans available. Its Musical Score mechanic lets you record an opponent’s abilities and use the resulting information to improve your defensive responses. The expanded recording window makes this mechanic more reliable than it was in earlier versions.

Enhanced Hearing also marks enemies and increases your offensive pressure, while Vital Draw provides valuable health or stamina recovery depending on the result. Additional advantages include poison immunity, strong defensive stats, and bonuses that support general progression.

Kamado (Supreme)

  • Best for: Demons, hybrid builds, and high-survivability combat

Kamado combines offensive scaling with defensive mechanics that make it especially valuable for Demon characters. Sun Immunity removes one of the major environmental limitations affecting demons, while its other abilities provide healing, control, and additional damage potential.

Its Indomitable Will skill is another useful tool for creating openings and extending pressure. Although some of its PvP defensive effects received reductions in V0.25, the Clan remains an excellent option for its broad compatibility and strong overall stat profile.

Shinazugawa (Mythic)

  • Best for: Wind Breathing and aggressive Slayer builds

Shinazugawa is a powerful specialist that rewards an offensive approach. Its Windstorm Vigor ability improves movement, reduces stamina costs, and increases damage potential, particularly when paired with Wind Breathing.

The additional mobility and offensive bonuses help you maintain pressure without exhausting your stamina too quickly. This is very valuable when using Wind’s combo extensions and movement-based attacks.

Rengoku (Supreme)

  • Best for: Flame Breathing and boss damage

Rengoku specializes in raw offensive performance. Its high Additional Damage Factor, Katana-related bonuses, and Heart Ablaze ability make it an excellent partner for Flame Breathing. The Clan’s burn-related effects add further pressure during combat, although the Heart Ablaze damage was slightly reduced in V0.25.

Soyama (Supreme)

  • Best for: Counter-based builds and experienced PvP players

Soyama is built around reading opponents and punishing predictable actions. Its counter-oriented mechanics reward players who understand when to defend and when to turn an opponent’s attack into an opening.

Bell Splitter provides a useful slowing effect, while Combat Intuition adds another layer of offensive potential after successful defensive interactions. This Clan performs best in experienced hands: It isn’t as straightforward as Uzui or Kamado, but its counter-based mechanics can be extremely effective when used correctly.

Tamayo (Mythic)

  • Best for: Team support, healing, and prolonged encounters

Tamayo became considerably more attractive after its earlier stat improvements. Its Pharmaceutical Skills ability creates a support opportunity that can restore health and reset cooldowns for affected players.

This is especially valuable in coordinated groups, where resetting several teammates’ abilities can create another complete offensive rotation. Tamayo also has offensive and control effects of its own, so it isn’t limited to standing behind the frontline and healing.

Himejima (Mythic)

  • Best for: Defensive bruiser builds and M1-focused combat

Himejima combines high durability with defensive mechanics that reward players who stay in close combat. Stone Skin, improved Block Regeneration, damage reduction, and attack-reflection effects make it difficult to overwhelm. Its ability to follow skill attacks with M1 pressure also supports an aggressive defensive playstyle.

A-Tier Clans: Strong Specialists

A-Tier Clans remain valuable, especially when their bonuses directly support your chosen Breathing Style or Demon Art.

CLAN BEST SYNERGY MAIN ADVANTAGE
Tomioka Water Breathing Improves Water damage and adds useful slowing effects
Agatsuma Thunder Breathing Provides speed, pursuit, and enhanced Thunder attacks
Kocho Insect Breathing Complements poison-based damage and offensive pressure
Shabana Obi Manipulation Supports coordinated attacks and team-oriented builds
Iguro Mobile sword builds Provides useful repositioning and movement
Douma Evasion and clone builds Offers defensive recovery and specialist Demon utility
Urokodaki Water Breathing Provides defensive and progression-oriented utility
Sabito Sword and mobility builds Offers useful movement and dash options

Tomioka is a very good choice for Water users. Its Tidal Blood passive slows opponents, while Water’s Clarity builds additional Water damage through its stack mechanic. Agatsuma is another worthwhile specialist because its Godspeed ability complements Thunder’s mobility and pursuit mechanics.

B-Tier Clans: Situational Options

B-Tier Clans can still contribute to useful builds, but their benefits are generally narrower or less competitive than the higher-ranked alternatives.

  • Ubuyashiki: Offers progression and support-related bonuses, making it useful for players who value utility beyond direct combat.
  • Makomo: A reasonable early option, although stronger specialists offer more noticeable advantages later.
  • Yahaba: Provides niche utility but lacks the overall versatility of higher-ranked Clans.
  • Susumaru: Can contribute to specific combat setups, but is generally less attractive as a universal choice.
  • Kaneki, Yamagiri, Kurotsume, Aoshima, and Aori: Uncommon Clans that are better viewed as temporary or family-specific options.

These choices are not automatically useless. A lower-rarity Clan that supports your current fighting style can be more practical than an expensive reroll that doesn’t support your build.

C-Tier Clans: Basic Stat Options

Common Clans primarily provide basic statistical improvements without the extensive active abilities and passives found on higher-rarity families. They can help during early progression, but most players will eventually want to replace them with a more specialized option. Avoid spending too many spins trying to perfect a Common Clan. Concentrate on obtaining a useful Legendary, Mythic, or Supreme option that complements your preferred combat style.

2. Best Breathing Styles Tier List

Breathing Styles are available to human Slayers and determine your main sword-based moveset. They influence your attack range, combo potential, mobility, guard pressure, and ability to control opponents. The following rankings reflect the current documented balance environment.

TIER BREATHING STYLES MAIN ADVANTAGES
S Wind, Flame Excellent combo pressure, damage, and overall combat performance
A Thunder, Water, Stone, Sound, Serpent Strong mobility, defensive tools, and specialized damage
B Insect Fast attacks and poison synergy, but more limited area coverage

S-Tier Breathing Styles

Wind Breathing

  • Best for: Aggressive PvP, combo extensions, and guard pressure

Wind is one of the strongest Breathing Styles for players who understand spacing and combo timing. Its attacks include stun starters, movement-based follow ups, and powerful options for pressuring an opponent’s guard. Mountain Wind is especially useful for opening combos, while Whirlwind Cutter provides another way to initiate or extend pressure.

Flame Breathing

  • Best for: PvE farming, boss fights, and reliable offensive performance

Flame is one of the most approachable high-tier styles because its attacks have clear purposes and its overall moveset works well across several situations. Unknowing Fire provides a reliable engagement tool, while Blazing Universe offers additional range. Flame Undulation is also useful because it can punish incoming attacks with a counter, and Flame Tiger provides a powerful offensive sequence.

A-Tier Breathing Styles

Thunder Breathing

  • Best for: Players who prioritize speed, pursuit, and quick offensive openings

Thunder offers outstanding mobility and fast engagement options. Its dash attacks make it difficult for opponents to maintain distance, while its faster execution helps create openings during PvP encounters. Godspeed also improves your movement and gives the style additional pursuit potential.

Water Breathing

  • Best for: Defensive players, PvP duels, and sustained encounters

Water combines offense with defensive utility. Dead Calm provides a valuable defensive option, while its other attacks offer combo extensions and useful movement. It is suitable for players who prefer a more measured combat approach rather than committing to every available attack.

Stone Breathing

  • Best for: Close-range fights, durable builds, and boss encounters

Stone is designed for players who prefer powerful attacks and trading damage rather than constantly evading opponents. Many of its moves have hyper armor, allowing you to continue attacking through certain interruptions.

Sound Breathing

  • Best for: Dungeon progression, group PvE, and area control

Sound focuses on area pressure and attacks that can affect multiple opponents. Its explosive bead techniques make it particularly useful in dungeons and group encounters. Sound’s ability to control an area gives it a useful advantage when fighting groups rather than isolated opponents.

Serpent Breathing

  • Best for: Mobile PvP combat and specialized boss builds

Serpent is a mobile fighting style that uses teleports, knock-ups, and multi-hit attacks to keep opponents under pressure. Its movement options make it especially useful for dueling and chasing enemies.

B-Tier Breathing Styles

Insect Breathing

  • Best for: Poison-focused builds, quick combos, and players who prefer fast melee combat

Insect focuses on quick attacks, chainable strikes, and poison-related damage. Its fast moves make it possible to maintain pressure through repeated attacks, particularly when paired with a suitable Clan such as Kocho. Its main limitation is area coverage. Insect can perform well in a one-on-one fight, but it generally doesn’t clear large groups as efficiently as Flame or Sound.

3. Best Blood Demon Arts Tier List

Demons use Blood Demon Arts, sometimes referred to as Evil Arts, instead of Breathing Styles. These abilities provide a different type of combat system, with attacks ranging from ranged projectiles and traps to powerful counters and close-range combinations.

TIER DEMON ART MAIN ADVANTAGES
S Pyrokinesis, Shockwave, Obi Manipulation Strong burst damage, guard pressure, control, and combo potential
A Ice Manipulation, Dream Manipulation, Reaper, Arrow Manipulation, Tamari Manipulation Excellent specialists for control, mobility, and PvE damage
B Blood Manipulation Useful sustained damage and group-fight utility, but more situational overall

S-Tier Blood Demon Arts

Pyrokinesis

  • Best for: Burst damage, pursuit, and boss farming
  • Best Clan: Kamado or Soyama

Pyrokinesis is the strongest all-round Demon Art at the moment. Its combination of tracking attacks, close-range pressure, and reliable damage windows makes it effective against both players and NPCs. Blood Tiles creates opportunities to initiate attacks, while Blood Rupture and Fiery Slash provide powerful offensive options. Heel Bash is useful for converting an opening into additional damage.

Shockwave

  • Best for: Counterattacks, guard breaks, and reactive PvP combat
  • Best Clans: Soyama or Kamado

Shockwave rewards players who can recognize an opponent’s attack patterns and respond at the right moment. Compass Needle is one of its most valuable abilities because it can counter and break hyper armor. Demon Core provides a stun projectile, while Explosive Fury gives you a steerable attack that can pressure opponents trying to escape.

Obi Manipulation

  • Best for: Guard pressure, area control, and PvP mix-ups
  • Best Clan: Shabana

Obi Manipulation is built around controlling space and forcing opponents to defend against attacks coming from different directions. Its moves include Obi Barrage, Obi Pursuit, Obi Grab, and Obi Field. Together, these abilities provide several ways to maintain pressure, catch opponents who attempt to escape, and threaten their guard.

A-Tier Blood Demon Arts

Ice Manipulation (Cryokinesis)

  • Best for: Dungeons, group fights, and controlling multiple enemies

Ice is one of the strongest crowd-control options in the game. Its freezing effects, broad attack coverage, and powerful grab make it especially effective in dungeons and group PvE encounters. It also received additional damage against NPCs and bosses in V0.25, which improved its farming potential.

Dream Manipulation

  • Best for: Mid-range pressure and disorienting opponents

Dream Manipulation specializes in confusing and disrupting opponents. Its attacks can pressure enemies from range while creating opportunities for additional damage. It is a useful PvP choice when you want to interfere with an opponent’s rhythm and make their defensive decisions less predictable.

Reaper

  • Best for: Pursuit, close-range combat, and mobile PvP builds

Reaper is built around aggressive movement and fast engagements. Its dash and close-range attacks help you chase opponents, initiate fights, and maintain pressure after landing a successful hit. It is a strong choice for players who want an aggressive Demon Art without relying exclusively on ranged projectiles.

Arrow Manipulation

  • Best for: Ranged pressure and PvE encounters

Arrow Manipulation provides ranged control and projectile-based attacks. It can force opponents to reposition while giving you additional opportunities to land attacks from a safer distance. Its PvE performance improved after the balance changes, making it a more attractive specialist for progression.

Tamari Manipulation

  • Best for: Flexible attacks and players who prefer a varied moveset

Tamari provides a mixture of projectile pressure, kicks, and area attacks. Its toolkit is useful when you want to attack from different distances rather than depending on one consistent combo route. Its cooldown and PvP adjustments make it less attractive than the stronger alternatives, but its improved NPC damage keeps it relevant for specialized PvE builds.

B-Tier Blood Demon Arts

Blood Manipulation

  • Best for: Coordinated boss fights and specialized team compositions

Blood Manipulation features repeated attacks and barrage-based pressure. In coordinated fights, its attacks can provide teammates with additional opportunities to land their own hits. It also has useful PvE applications, especially against bosses, although its performance in PvP is less consistent following previous balance adjustments. A suitable weapon, such as a Sickle, can help improve its offensive potential.

The strongest general-purpose Clan in Slayers 2 is Uzui, while Wind and Flame lead the Breathing Style rankings. On the Demon side, Pyrokinesis, Shockwave, and Obi Manipulation offer the best overall combination of pressure, control, and offensive potential in the current game version.

However, don’t choose your entire build based on tier rankings alone. Before spending your spins, decide what kind of fighter you want to become. A well-matched A-Tier Clan or Breathing Style can outperform a stronger option that doesn’t support your playstyle. Mastering the interaction between your Clan, combat abilities, and weapon is ultimately more important than collecting the rarest rolls.
