GigaBash Mobile is bringing its giant monster battles to phones, complete with destructible cities, oversized transformations, and support for up to four players.
This is the mobile version of Passion Republic Games’ kaiju arena brawler, which first launched for PC and PlayStation in 2022. For more background on the series, read MMO Culture’s coverage of the original GigaBash PC and PlayStation launch.
Now, Android players are only a few days away from getting their own version.
GigaBash Mobile Release Date for Android
The GigaBash Mobile release date is November 10, 2026, for Android devices. Players can already visit the official Google Play page and add the game to their wishlist before it becomes available.
An iOS version is also planned, although Passion Republic Games has yet to announce its release date. The developer previously ran mobile beta tests on Android and iOS, so Apple users have not been left out of the wider launch plan. They will simply need to wait a little longer.
GigaBash Mobile will be free to download and try. If you want access to the full base game, you can unlock it through a one-time in-app purchase. The US price is set at $9.99, while the amount may change in other countries due to regional pricing.
What to Expect from GigaBash Mobile
The mobile version keeps the core idea that made GigaBash work on PC and consoles. You pick a Titan or hero, enter a large arena, and try to defeat everyone else while much of the city falls apart around you.
Buildings and other objects can become part of the fight. You can smash opponents through structures, throw large pieces of the environment, and use the arena to set up attacks. There are 21 destructible maps, so matches should have plenty of room for this kind of chaos.
Combat also includes the game’s two major power mechanics. Dealing and receiving damage builds Giga Energy, which eventually lets your character grow into a much stronger S-Class form. You can also collect the Giga Ball to activate an Ultimate ability that may completely change the direction of the match.
Passion Republic Games says the controls have been adjusted for mobile devices. The closed and open beta periods gave players a chance to test the game on phones, and the feedback from those sessions was used during the final polish.
Game Modes Available at Launch
GigaBash Mobile includes several ways to play, whether you want multiplayer matches or something you can tackle alone.
- Battle Mode supports one to four players through online and offline play.
- Arcade Mode offers a series of solo combat challenges.
- Story Mode explores the origins and adventures of different Titans.
- Onslaught Mode lets you fight against continuing waves of enemies.
The original version also included different match rules and party-focused activities. However, the current mobile store page only confirms the four modes listed above.
The official Android trailer gives players a closer look at the touchscreen interface, battles, transformations, and crossover characters. It was released for Godzilla Day alongside the Android launch announcement:
Godzilla, Ultraman, and Gamera DLC
GigaBash Mobile will offer optional crossover DLC based on Godzilla, Ultraman, and Gamera -Rebirth-. These packs bring well-known movie and television characters into the game alongside Passion Republic Games’ original Titans.
The wider GigaBash crossover roster has included Godzilla, Gigan, Mechagodzilla, Destoroyah, Ultraman, Ultraman Tiga, Alien Baltan, Camearra, Gamera, and Guiron. The exact mobile DLC lineup and regional prices have yet to be listed in full.
Crossover packs will be sold separately after you purchase the base-game unlock. This means the initial $9.99 purchase does not automatically include every licensed character.
Will GigaBash Mobile Support Multiplayer?
Online and offline matches for up to four players are confirmed. However, Passion Republic Games has yet to provide final details about cross-play with PC and consoles, shared progression, controller support, or cloud saves between Android and iOS.
For now, players should expect the full mobile experience to revolve around touchscreen controls and multiplayer between supported mobile devices. More details may appear once the Android version goes live and the developer explains its account and matchmaking features.
GigaBash Mobile Is Almost Here
GigaBash Mobile looks set to carry over much of the large-scale destruction that made the original release fun. The free trial also gives Android players a chance to test the controls and performance before purchasing the complete game.
With several solo modes, four-player battles, and some huge crossover names, the November 10 launch should be worth watching for anyone who wants a proper kaiju brawler on their phone.
