The official Rivet Nova website currently lists an early October 2026 launch window for Android and iOS. This persistent MMO idle game puts you in charge of a modular combat machine that can gather resources, craft new parts, and continue selected activities while you are away.
An Android closed beta is already underway through Google Play. Invitations are being sent in waves, so interested players can join the waitlist through the official Rivet Nova website while testing spaces remain available.
What to Expect From the Rivet Nova Release
Rivet Nova starts you with a basic machine and a workshop that can produce stronger parts over time. You research Metal and Plastic, unlock blueprints, and then use those resources to craft components with individual stats.
Each new part can change the performance of your machine, which gives you a reason to compare several versions of the same component. Once your build is ready, you can test it through PvE Hunts, Arena matches, trading, and weekly guild wars.
The current beta contains 105 component definitions across five families. Each one controls a different part of the machine.
| Component | Role in Your Machine |
| Battery | Supplies the current needed to operate the weapon. |
| Switch | Limits current and determines the fire rate. |
| Spring | Uses elasticity to increase the transferred force. |
| Projectile | Adds weight and determines accuracy. |
| Armor | Protects the machine during combat. |
The weapon requires the Battery, Switch, Spring, and Projectile to work. Armor occupies the fifth slot and adds protection once equipped.
Crafting and Upgrades Come With Some Risk
Crafted components receive permanent individual stat rolls, so two parts of the same type and level may perform differently. These rolls can fall between 20% below and 20% above the standard value, which makes well-rolled parts more valuable.
Successful upgrades increase the applicable stats of a component by 5%. However, failed attempts can destroy non-starter parts, so improving a strong component carries a real risk. You can also open two sockets on each part and install runes that provide additional bonuses.
Runes become permanently attached after installation. If the component breaks, its installed runes are lost as well. This system connects crafting, upgrades, and trading because valuable parts need careful investment before they reach their full potential.
Offline Progress Keeps the Workshop Active
Rivet Nova continues selected research and production activities for up to four hours after you leave. During resource research, successful machine attacks generate Metal or Plastic based partly on your Force and Fire Rate.
This means changes to your combat setup can also affect workshop progress. When you return, you can collect the resources, start another crafting job, and use the finished parts to adjust your build.
Crafting success depends on the component level, previous attempts, mastery, and certain guild bonuses. The first Level 1 crafting attempt for every component family is guaranteed, which helps new players assemble their early setup.
PvE Hunts, Arena Battles, and Player Trading
Monster Hunt acts as the game’s PvE campaign and currently contains 100 mechanical enemies. Defeating the highest available monster opens the next one, while victories can provide Gold, XP, components, runes, and materials used to create temporary fluids.
The Arena lets you fight machines built by other players. Its matchmaking system searches for opponents near your current Rating, and separate leaderboards track Rating, pilot level, machine Power, and Hunt progress.
Trading opens at Pilot Level 5 through a player-run market that uses Gold. Sellers can list components, materials, and fluids, while buyers can submit alternative offers. Since crafted components have individual rolls, the market gives strong parts another purpose outside your own workshop.
Guilds Add Shared Progress and Weekly Wars
Guild members can contribute resources, improve shared technology, and store components inside a common Vault. Guilds may also control one of ten bases, which provide daily gifts, weekly caches, and defensive bonuses.
Clan War registration opens each Thursday, and the fighting begins on Sunday. Officers arrange attack and defence queues before each machine enters a gauntlet-style battle. The surviving machine keeps its remaining health and then faces the next opponent until one guild runs out of fighters.
How to Join the Rivet Nova Android Beta
Rivet Nova’s browser alpha opened on August 5, 2026, and has since ended, although its exact closing date was never announced. The Android closed beta then went live on August 31 and remains active through Google Play.
Players need an Android phone or tablet, a valid invitation email, and a willingness to report issues. Access is free, while the current Android beta is intended for players aged 18 or older. Invitations are sent in waves as testing spaces become available.
Beta progression may be reset before the public release because account carryover has yet to be confirmed. Exact device requirements will be confirmed with each testing wave.
An exact release day and complete monetization details remain unannounced. The game’s privacy policy confirms optional rewarded advertising and a subscription product, but its pricing and full benefits have yet to be shared.
Ahead of the Rivet Nova release, players can follow the official site and join the Android waitlist for a chance to test the current build. For more upcoming mobile releases, visit MMO Culture’s latest gaming news.
