While many companies have resumed their presence at G-Star 2022, such as Nexon and Netmarble, NCSOFT has opted not to take part this year. However, following the sneak peek of Throne and Liberty, the developer teased several new projects in the works. The first one to be revealed is Project LLL, a PC and console title. Set in an alternative historic science fiction world, players will explore a post-apocalyptic South Korea,10th century Byzantine Empire, and the 23rd century future – all co-existing in one timeline.
Project LLL will feature a vast open world in which more than 30km of land area is seamlessly connected to a single environment offering players compelling procedurally created content that reacts appropriately to the player’s situation instead of playing preset content on repeat. Players will also have the opportunity to pilot various vehicles such as robots, automobiles, and even helicopters. These vehicles will heavily aid the player in combat encounters and can also be used to explore the world. Project LLL is scheduled to launch in 2024.
