GoreBox 27 is the next version of F²Games’ graphic physics sandbox shooter. It rebuilds several parts of GoreBox around more detailed damage, smarter NPCs, expanded multiplayer, and stronger creation tools. Players can already try an unfinished version on Android and PC, though the full GoreBox 27 release date still needs some explanation.
GoreBox 27 Release Date and Early Access Status
The GoreBox 27 early-access demo arrived on August 27, 2026. Its Android rollout took longer in some regions, but the game is now available through the official Google Play page. The latest listed build is version 0.16.2, which arrived on October 30.
PC players can access GoreBox 27 through the existing GoreBox game on Steam. After opening the game’s Properties menu, owners can enter the Betas section and select the “gb27” branch. SteamDB describes this as an early-access branch that will remain available until GoreBox 27 receives its complete release.
Here is where each platform currently stands:
| Platform | Current status |
| Android | Early access available on Google Play |
| PC | Early access through the GoreBox Steam beta branch |
| iOS | No confirmed version or release date |
| Consoles | No confirmed versions |
| Full release | Date to be announced |
The finished game is expected during 2027, though F²Games has yet to confirm a month or day. Because of this, August 27 should be treated as the early-access demo date rather than the full launch.
More Detailed Damage and GoreDoll Physics
GoreBox 27 remains a sandbox where players can fight, create scenes, test weapons, or cause general chaos. However, its new damage system tracks much more than a basic health bar.
Each GoreDoll has individual limbs, bones, organs, and blood. A broken arm can make an NPC drop its weapon, while serious damage to the spine or legs may leave it crawling. Characters can also suffer concussions, lose consciousness, wake up again, or bleed out from untreated injuries.
Wounds, burns, and blood remain visible on the body and environment. Players can then use the Body Inspector to check their own injuries and organ condition. The violence is very graphic, which explains the Mature 17+ rating in the United States and PEGI 18 rating in Europe.
Weapons, Props, and the Reality Crusher
Version 0.16.2 includes eight firearms, 25 melee weapons, and around 177 props. Gun handling covers recoil and bullet penetration, while melee weapons can block attacks and cause separate injuries to each body part.
The Reality Crusher also returns with expanded powers. You can grab physical objects, move them, throw them, tear them apart, or use them while building a scene. Available props include turrets, televisions, live cameras, jump pads, teleporters, and construction pieces.
Environmental effects now go further as well. Fire can spread, and characters can suffer burns or radiation exposure. The current build also includes destructive items such as the Nuclear Aerial Bomb, Neutron Bottle, and Plasma Bottle.
Multiplayer, Cross-Play, and Game Modes
GoreBox 27 supports cross-play between PC and mobile. You can host a private game, invite friends, browse public servers, or play over LAN. Bots can also fill open spaces in smaller matches.
The multiplayer tools include dedicated servers, voice and text chat, host controls, vote-kicks, clans, and custom server currency called GB$. Server owners can create their own rules and roles, which should give roleplay groups more control over their sessions.
Available modes include Sandbox, Free for All, Team Deathmatch, Gun Game, Maniac Mystery, Infection, Mutant Survival, Juggernaut, Riot, and Invasion. Bots work across the available modes, so you can still play without a complete online lobby.
Map Creation and Character Customization
The PC version includes a map editor with buildings, doors, elevators, water, triggers, and other interactive pieces. Creators can publish completed maps through the Workshop and save scenes with their NPCs and props still in place.
Character creation includes facial options, hairstyles, facial hair, hats, masks, clothes, and different colours. Players can also design NPCs with selected appearances, weapons, and factions.
Mobile players receive touchscreen controls, and full controller support is also available. The Android version is free to install, though its Google Play page currently lists in-app purchases.
What to Expect Before the Full Release
GoreBox 27 remains an early-access game, so missing content, bugs, balance changes, and unfinished systems should be expected. F²Games also warns that it currently has less content than GoreBox Animosity. Regular updates are gradually filling that gap.

A separate GoreBox 27 Q&A with GDev covers the release plan, performance, NPCs, iOS, consoles, VR, and other development questions.
The final GoreBox 27 release date remains unconfirmed, but Android and PC players can already see where the project is heading. Its detailed damage, cross-platform multiplayer, custom modes, and expanded building tools give the sandbox a much larger base to grow from as F²Games works toward the full version.
