Source – In the recent Activision Blizzard Q4 2010 Financial Results Conference Call, CEO Mike Morhaime gave a hint about Diablo III’s release date, but once again being totally being vague about it at the same time. The most important detail will announced will no doubt be “if a title is not released this year, we will be releasing two titles in 2012”. According to the conference papers, a note stated that there will be no major title release for Blizzard in 2011.
The last time they did that was in 2009, when no games were released, but in 2010, Starcraft II and World of Warcraft: Cataclysm went on retail. With no official date announced in the first place for Diablo III, few could argue that the game is “delayed again”. Let’s just hope this will not be true and the game will hit this year end holiday season…
