- Open Pokémon TCG Pocket and tap the three-line menu icon on the title or loading screen.
- Locate your Support ID in the menu and use the copy button. The Support ID is different from your Friend ID.
- Open the official Pokémon TCG Pocket Gift Code website.
- Paste your Support ID into the correct field, then type or paste the active gift code.
- Complete the CAPTCHA and press the Send button.
- Return to the game and open the Gift Inbox by tapping the present icon in the upper-right corner of the Home screen.
- Collect the delivered items from the Gift Inbox.
Rewards are sent to the in-game Gift Inbox after a successful redemption. If the box is empty, check that the website accepted both your Support ID and gift code.
Redeem Codes Not Working?
When a Pokémon TCG Pocket gift code is rejected, or its reward does not appear, check these common causes:
- Confirm the Support ID: Make sure you copied the Support ID connected to your game data. Entering your Friend ID will not work.
- Review the Gift Code: Codes are case-sensitive. Check every character and remove any unwanted spaces before pressing Send.
- Check the Code Status: The gift code may have expired, may not have started yet, or may have reached its overall redemption limit.
- Check Your Previous Redemptions: A gift code can generally be used only once for the same game data. It may also have been redeemed under another Support ID.
- Consider Other Limits: Some offers have regional restrictions, individual gift limits, or a fixed number of total uses. These conditions can prevent an otherwise correct entry from working.
An error saying Incorrect Support ID means the ID should be checked again, while Incorrect gift code points to a problem with the code entered. If the page only says that an error occurred, wait for a while and try the process again. A temporary system problem may be responsible.
