Fabledom is preparing to expand to mobile devices, and Android users can now pre-register through Google Play. The upcoming version brings Grenaa Games’ fairy-tale city builder to phones and tablets after its previous releases on PC and consoles. A launch date has yet to be announced, so pre-registration currently offers the easiest way to follow its availability.

Fabledom Is Preparing for Its Android Release
The Google Play listing lets you register for Fabledom before its Android release. After you complete this step, Google Play can notify you when the game becomes available in your region. Store access can differ between countries, so some users may see the listing before others.
Several launch details remain unknown. The publisher has yet to announce the mobile price, Android device requirements, or possible pre-registration rewards. An iPhone and iPad edition has also received no official announcement, so the current news applies specifically to Android users.
The mobile edition follows the same Fabledom developed by Grenaa Games and published on other platforms by Dear Villagers. It is a single-player city-building game that combines resource management with relationships, diplomacy, and fairy-tale events. However, the publisher has yet to explain how its controls and interface will work on touchscreens.
Build and Manage a Fairy-Tale Kingdom
Fabledom starts with a small settlement that can gradually grow into a complete kingdom. You gather materials, construct homes, create workplaces, and provide services for residents called Fablings. Each expansion requires planning because your population needs food, housing, and access to important buildings.
As your settlement develops, neighboring rulers become part of your story. You can exchange resources, form alliances, begin feuds, and make diplomatic choices that affect your progress. Romance adds another part to these relationships, since six rulers can become possible partners. Each one offers associated quests and buildings, while a successful courtship can eventually lead to marriage.
The kingdom also faces threats from trolls and other hostile creatures. For that reason, you can build an army, choose a champion, and prepare defenses for your settlement. Beyond these battles, the setting includes witches, giants, gnomes, flying pigs, and a dragon that can appear during your journey.
Difficulty settings make the management systems accessible to new players and still provide additional challenges for experienced city-builder fans. The game draws inspiration from The Settlers, Foundation, and Kingdoms and Castles, although its romance system and fairy-tale setting give its progression a different direction.

Fabledom first entered Steam Early Access on April 13, 2023, before its complete PC release followed on May 13, 2024. It then arrived on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on September 12, 2024.
Its existing editions continued to receive improvements after their release. A quality-of-life update added Fairies, Fairy Towers, Fairy Pillars, and an interface-scaling option in March 2025. At that time, the developers also thanked a community of 500,000 players. The publisher has yet to confirm which updates will be included with the Android version when it launches.
Once Fabledom becomes available, you can check whether its Android version is supported on PC or Mac through BlueStacks. Until then, you can use the same setup to play other compatible Android games. A larger display can make settlement layouts and resource information easier to follow, while keyboard and mouse controls provide another way to manage supported games.
