Helmed by Machi Entertainment, Jeffrey Huang of Taiwanese hip hop group Machi announced a few hours earlier that his company has started a new eSports team. Currently known as Machi E-Sports, the team consists of several local veterans and is scheduled to challenge in Season 4.
Jeffrey Huang (黄立成) used to be part of the famous L.A. Boyz together with his brother, Stanley Huang, and both are now veterans of the Taiwanese entertainment industry. It is certainly surprising that a celebrity is funding this League of Legends venture, but it will only be good for the industry.
