According to a report in a fan forum, the CEO of Cykan Entertainment allegedly mentioned that he is considering to shut down the studio and Lime Odyssey, mainly due to “financial problem”. Founded by a group of Ragnarok Online developers, this will be the 2nd time Lime Odyssey is closing.
Do note that there is no official statement on the game website yet. After looking through several forums, it seems Lime Odyssey is still plagued with errors, technical issues, bugs and even bot complaints. What is going on with the developer?
It seems really weird as Lime Odyssey has been signed to multiple countries including Taiwan. Thailand and North America, with Daum, a powerful media company (also hosting Black Desert), as its Korean publisher. Daum even hired a Korean female pop group just a few months ago to promote the game.
