DIGIMON ALYSION: Release Date, Pre-Registration, and What to Expect

If you’ve wanted to try the Digimon Card Game without finding a local opponent, DIGIMON ALYSION is worth watching. Bandai’s upcoming mobile game puts deckbuilding and online battles on your phone, with an original adventure alongside them.

The DIGIMON ALYSION release date still needs a firm day, though. Pre-registration has opened, and the latest details give Tamers a clearer idea of what they’ll be playing.

DIGIMON ALYSION Release Date and Platforms

DIGIMON ALYSION is planned for 2026, but Bandai has yet to announce an exact launch date. It is coming to Android and iOS as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. Pre-registration is available in 49 countries and regions.

The US App Store listing currently displays December 23, 2026. However, its description explicitly says the displayed date does not represent the official release date. Keep that distinction in mind before planning your first session.

You can sign up through Google Play or Apple’s store in supported regions. English is among the supported interface languages.

What to Expect From DIGIMON ALYSION

The game has something for competitive players and fans who mainly want to collect their favorite Digimon. Its story also gives newcomers a place to learn before they face other Tamers.

Card Battles with Digivolution and Memory

You build a 50-card main deck and a separate Digi-Egg deck of up to five cards. You stack cards during battle to digivolve your Digimon and gain inherited effects.

Memory controls how much you can do. Paying costs shifts the gauge toward your opponent, so an expensive play affects when they get their turn. To win, you break through five security cards and land a direct attack.

The app automatically handles costs and effect resolution. That leaves you to focus on which move makes sense.

Ranked matches and tournaments are part of the announced competitive features, while the store description also includes battles against friends and characters.

An Original Story in the LIBERATOR World

The adventure takes place in Lacuna, the virtual setting associated with DIGIMON LIBERATOR. Kanata Hondo enters this world after an invitation from her online friend Futre, and the story introduces card battles as she learns. You can explore the background through the official LIBERATOR webcomic and novel site.

Kanata is an experienced gamer who is new to card games. Futre appears to have a secret, while guild leader Valner Dragnogh wants her to return to Di:WO. The cast also includes the mysterious white Digimon Gemmon.

Daily Packs, Special Cards and Digimon Raising

The collection combines existing Digimon Card Game cards with new ALYSION additions. A free daily pack gives you a regular way to pick up cards, and collectors can look for Shiny, Alt-Art, and animated Premium Alt-Art versions.

The raising feature also lets Digimon evolve up to Mega, and the Digidex is set to include more than 100 entries.

DIGIMON ALYSION Pre-Registration Rewards

The official campaign offers rewards as total registrations reach specific milestones:

100,000 BD1-02 Gemmon
150,000 BT1-044 MetalGarurumon

These rewards depend on the campaign targets. Bandai plans to distribute them through in-game mail at release, and the campaign runs until launch.

What Bandai Is Improving Before Launch

The 2025 closed beta gave the team plenty to work on. Its published feedback report identifies small card text, battle controls, unclear effects, and deckbuilding guidance among the issues players raised.

Bandai said it would prioritize the battle interface and improve several parts of the experience. Those details can make a real difference when you’re trying to follow a match and work out your next move.

The official rules guide offers a useful head start while you wait for the DIGIMON ALYSION release date. You can learn the basics now and start thinking about which partner Digimon you’d like to build around.
