Since being announced back in May, gamers have been curious about the business model for Blade & Soul. NCsoft today revealed that Blade & Soul English will be Free-to-Play, with a monthly Premium Membership plan. There will be no power boosts, and Premium tiers will increase with the amount of NCoin and in-game currency that is spent. This is somewhat like getting higher VIP levels.
NCsoft hasn’t been all clear with all the advantages of being a Premium Member, with “all sorts of quality of life benefits” chosen to represent them. We do know that a special windwalk animation and discounts in the Auction House will be present, and the benefits are “specifically developed for Blade & Soul West”. There will be 3 different Founders Packs with Closed Beta access for sale soon.
