Blade & Soul China - Tencent and NCsoft

Q: When will the Korean server enter Closed Beta 3? What are some of the new features in this phase?

A: Closed Beta 3 in Korea is unconfirmed currently, but we will be announcing the exact date within these 2 months. Closed Beta 3 will see a major update and change for the skill system. The Summoner class will be added, including new a new level cap, new monsters and cross-server auctions.

Q: Talking about the Summoner, what are some characteristics and unique points about this class?

A: What I can divulge is that the Summoner is played differently from the other classes, gameplay style is easier and more relaxed while not repetitive.

Q: Closed Beta for the China server was originally announced to begin in April 2012 at TGC 2011, why the delay of 4 months?

A: We want to polish up the game and bring a higher quality client to the gamers, hence the delay.

Q: How near completion will be the Korean Closed Beta 3 client?

A: Blade & Soul is currently near the end of the development phase for commercial release. While pleased with most parts, there are some areas which we feel need improvement. We will be updating the game regularly to resolve these issues.

Q: Lineage II has gone Free to Play in North America, with a steady rise of players and revenue. Will this have an impact on Blade & Soul’s business model?

A: Apologies, it is inconvenient to answer this question as it is out of our expertise.
