If you did not know, Netmarble US announced back in March that it will be launching a new action mobile RPG, The King of Fighters Allstar, by this year. While there has since been no updates, the game is celebrating its 1st anniversary in Japan with tons of announcements, new content, and celebratory events. The first reveal which caught our eyes are 3 classic characters, Billy Kane, Chang Koehan, and Yashiro Nanakase getting new female versions! This came as a shock, but really intriguing. Chang Koehan even has her own intro trailer!
Just for comparison’s sake, seen below are the original characters with their upcoming new female skins. Netmarble has mentioned that the skills and power level will remain the same, making this just an aesthetic change. Whichever doctor Chang went to is a genius!
The other news which caught our eyes is the new collaboration with Tekken 7. Although no dates were announced for this event to begin, we were shown that 3 Tekken characters will definitely make it into The King of Fighters Allstar, including Kazuya Mishima, Jin Kazama, and Heihachi Mishima. The 3 generations of Mishima! Stay tuned for more about the game.
