Soft launches give you an opportunity to play upcoming Android games before their worldwide releases. Developers use these limited rollouts to test servers, adjust progression, fix problems, and collect player feedback.
Access usually depends on your Google Play country because each game supports a different group of regions. Some store pages may show a pre-registration button if the game has yet to reach your location. Features and availability can also change throughout testing, so check the game’s official page before downloading it.
The games below cover open-world adventures, racing, football, strategy, MMORPGs, shooters, and multiplayer party action.
1. Gangstar Mirage City: Online

- Publisher: Level Infinite
- Genre: Open-world action RPG
- Available in: Latin America, MENA, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and parts of Europe
Gangstar Mirage City: Online takes you to a neon-lit city filled with criminal businesses, street clashes, and high-speed pursuits. You can plan cooperative heists with your crew, steal vehicles, customize weapons, and complete story missions.
Successful jobs provide the resources you need to expand your underground empire. Casual PvP battles and races also give you activities beyond the main campaign.
2. ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD

- Publisher: Com2uS Holdings
- Genre: Sci-fi action MMORPG
- Available in: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, and New Zealand
ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD takes place in 3400 AD, where Guardians fight to protect the Solar System. Its Suit Change system allows you to switch between two combat styles during battle. Four classes provide different weapons and abilities, while hoverboards, mechs, and aerial vehicles make movement more varied. You can also join other players for raids, strike missions, and boss encounters.
3. Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble

- Developer/Publisher: Oh BiBi / PlayStation Mobile Inc.
- Genre: Multiplayer arena shooter
- Available in: Selected regions across Europe, Asia, and North America
Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble turns the PlayStation series into a fast mobile platform shooter. Movement plays a major role because you can double-jump, wall-run, grind, and dash through each arena. The game includes ten heroes and more than 20 weapons drawn from the wider franchise. Its modes range from 3v3 team battles to eight-player free-for-all matches and six-player PvPvE fights.
4. Hill Climb Racing 3

- Developer: Fingersoft
- Genre: Multiplayer racing
- Available in: Finland, Norway, Sweden, the UK, Germany, and Poland
Hill Climb Racing 3 brings real-time multiplayer to the series for the first time. Each race combines physics-based driving with gadgets that can boost your vehicle, protect it, or disrupt a rival. Elimination mode removes the last driver to reach each checkpoint, which keeps every section competitive. You can also upgrade vehicles, collect skins, and select drivers with individual traits.
5. Plants vs. Zombies™ 3: Evolved

- Developer/Publisher: PopCap Games / Electronic Arts
- Genre: Strategy tower defence
- Available in: Ireland, the Philippines, Indonesia, the UK, and other test regions
Plants vs. Zombies™ 3: Evolved returns to the familiar battle between unusual plants and hungry zombies. The main change is a merging system that creates stronger plants during each level.
This mechanic adds another decision to the usual process of defending lanes and managing resources. The Early Access version continues to receive changes to its tutorial, goals, rewards, achievements, and overall progression.
6. Temple Run 3

- Developer: Imangi Studios
- Genre: Endless runner
- Available in: Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Türkiye
Temple Run 3 sends you back to Doom Lagoon for another escape from the Demon Monkeys. The core controls remain easy to understand as you swipe to turn, jump, and slide past obstacles.
New heroes have their own abilities, while companion pets can provide temporary powers during a run. Missions, perks, character upgrades, and a global leaderboard add more progression between attempts.
7. CSR 3 – Street Car Racing

- Developer/Publisher: NaturalMotion / Zynga
- Genre: Street racing
- Available in: France, Malaysia, South Africa, Indonesia, and Italy
CSR 3 – Street Car Racing expands the series beyond straight drag races. New courses include corners, changing surfaces, and challenges that require the right vehicle setup.
You can equip modifications that improve performance and add useful racing perks. Licensed cars and detailed customization remain central to the experience, so every victory contributes to a larger collection built for different events.
8. SoulTerra Odyssey

- Publisher: Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.
- Genre: Match-3D roguelite RPG
- Available in: Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and the UK
SoulTerra Odyssey connects 3D object matching with turn-based fantasy battles. Matches activate skills, which can then form stronger combinations against enemies.
Roguelite choices change the abilities available during each journey, so your strategy develops differently between runs. Outside battle, you can recruit heroes, improve their powers, and travel to new lands aboard a flying ship.
9. UFL – Soccer Game 2026

- Publisher: XTEN Limited
- Genre: Sports, soccer simulation
- Available in: Most regions through global-access soft launch
UFL – Soccer Game 2026 puts you in control of both the squad and its performance on the pitch. You can recruit footballers, create formations, plan training, and develop your club before entering competitive matches.
Real-time controls place greater weight on your passes, positioning, and shots. Regular tournaments then provide additional rewards as your team moves through the available competitions.
10. Hoverboard Party

- Developer/Publisher: Boom 808 / Miniclip
- Genre: Action, multiplayer party game
- Available in: The UK, Denmark, Italy, and Portugal
Hoverboard Party places familiar Subway Surfers characters inside short competitive minigames. The current rotation includes obstacle races, Cage Football, Crossy Rails, Snowball Fight, Hoverboard Mayhem, and jetpack battles.
You can invite friends into private matches or compete against other players online. Coins earned through play can unlock additional characters, outfits, and cosmetic customization.
What to Know Before Playing Soft Launch Games
A supported Android device does not automatically mean that every title will appear in your Google Play Store. Your account country must also match one of the game’s active regions. If the page only offers pre-registration, you will need to wait for the rollout to expand.
You should also expect unfinished features, balance changes, server maintenance, and occasional bugs. Developers may adjust prices, rewards, characters, or entire gameplay systems before the worldwide release. Progress transfers also depend on the individual game, so avoid assuming that every item will carry over to the final version.
