MAJO – Apocalypse Tactics RPG officially launched on Android and iOS on August 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM UTC+8. Published by DarkWind Ltd., the global release followed a pre-registration campaign that began on June 29. Players can now enter its apocalyptic setting, build a squad of witches, and investigate a reality shaped by altered memories. The launch also brings login rewards that support your first team.
An Observer Enters a Manufactured Reality
MAJO takes place in a modern society where a mysterious higher-dimensional force has manipulated human senses and memories. The force hides the truth through false reactions and fragments taken from parallel dimensions. As a result, people interpret traces of reality as dreams, intuition, déjà vu, or a sixth sense.
You enter this setting as Luniao, the protagonist known as an Observer. This role allows you to look beyond the illusion and recover memory fragments that humanity has lost. From there, Luniao forms contracts with witches from different factions and investigates the anomalies hidden across civilization.
The story connects urban legends, ghost stories, supernatural incidents, and apocalyptic conspiracies. Myths and fairy tales may therefore preserve parts of the truth, while familiar memories may have been deliberately rewritten. Each mission takes you further into that mystery as Luniao and the witches search for the force behind the deception.
Timing-Based Combat Shapes Every Battle
Combat uses simple inputs alongside attacks that depend on careful timing. You can dodge incoming strikes, block enemy moves, and cause Knockdown at the right moment. A successful opening then allows your team to activate powerful Burst attacks and change the direction of the fight.
Team composition also affects how you approach each mission. Witches belong to four combat roles called Infiltration, Block, Enhancement, and Amplification. These categories let you combine offense, defense, and team support according to the enemies ahead.
The witches serve as weapons against “social anomalies” that threaten human society. Their connection with the Observer develops through soul resonance, which can awaken abilities powerful enough to affect causality. As your roster grows, you can test different role combinations and prepare teams for threats across time and space.
Pre-Registration Rewards Carry Into Launch
Before release, MAJO passed 800,000 global pre-registrations. That total cleared the first three public milestones and secured Energy Drinks, Eternal Coins, Omen Stones, and ten Witch Contract: Origin Contact items for eligible players. Pre-registered users were also promised a separate supply package with 300 Omen Stones, 30,000 Eternal Coins, and two medium Energy Drinks.
The original one-million milestone featured Red District Queen Huarui as its reward. DarkWind’s launch announcement now says that players can receive the limited SSR witch by logging in during the launch period. The release also offers a large number of launch pulls, so new players can begin recruiting witches and developing their initial formation soon after entering the game.
If you prefer to play Android games on a computer, MAJO – Apocalypse Tactics RPG can also be played on PC or Mac with BlueStacks. A larger display gives you more space to follow enemy cues, while keyboard and mouse controls provide another way to handle movement, dodges, blocks, and Burst attacks.
