Bloodless will launch on Android on September 2, 2026. Developer Point N’ Sheep confirmed the mobile release for its retro action-adventure game. This version follows ronin Tomoe as she returns to Bakugawa, where her former master Shogun Akechi rules through a violent military regime. Tomoe has abandoned her blade and sworn to avoid taking another life, so every confrontation centers on stopping enemies without killing them.
Parries Replace Lethal Attacks
Bloodless uses a top-down 2D presentation with retro pixel art and a limited color palette. Its combat system asks you to watch each opponent’s movements, dash away from an incoming strike, and counter at the right moment. A successful response disarms the enemy and allows Tomoe to continue her mission without breaking her vow.
Ki attacks provide another way to control difficult encounters. You can combine these abilities with special techniques and different combo variations as you develop a fighting style that matches your timing. Crests and herb infusions found across Bakugawa add further improvements, which can prepare Tomoe for stronger opponents later in her journey.
The campaign also takes you through sacred natural areas and districts damaged by Akechi’s rule. Missions connect these locations to the people who still live there, while side activities provide additional combat tests. Warrior Idols hidden around the map open Arena challenges for players who want to test their counter timing against tougher groups of enemies.

The Mobile Version Includes Namazu’s Wrath
Android players will receive the full roguelike update alongside the main campaign. Namazu’s Wrath places Tomoe on a shifting island where the gods Namazu and Baku guide her through waves of corruption. Her journey leads toward The Slasher, who represents the violent identity that Tomoe left behind.
The mode condenses the combat system into shorter runs with difficulty that rises as you progress. Six power-ups and additional secret techniques create different options during each attempt, so your choices can change how Tomoe handles later encounters. Since the mode works separately from the campaign, you can enter it at any point around the main story.
The mobile edition also adds responsive touchscreen controls for its fast counter system, while full controller support provides another control option. Casual Mode reduces the pressure during fights and lets you concentrate on Tomoe’s story. Assist settings add further choices such as invincibility for players who need them.
Pre-Registration Opens Before the Android Arrival
Bloodless first reached Steam on August 29, 2024, before its Nintendo Switch version followed on October 10. A major update arrived on March 18, 2026, and formed the basis of the version now moving to mobile. Pre-registration is currently open through Google Play, so Android users can register ahead of its arrival.
If you prefer to play Android games on a computer, BlueStacks provides access to them on PC and Mac. Bloodless will be available through Google Play inside BlueStacks after its Android launch. A larger display gives you more room to follow enemy movements and time Tomoe’s counters, while keyboard and mouse controls offer another way to move through Bakugawa. Sign in to Google Play, install the game, and begin Tomoe’s journey from your computer.
