Dauntless – Co-op action RPG surpasses 6 million players in first week of console launch

[Play free now] Independent game developer Phoenix Labs announced that Dauntless, the recently released Free-to-Play co-op action RPG, surpassed 6 million players within its first week – doubling its player count since the Open Beta phase started on PC. Phoenix Labs has worked tirelessly to expand player capacity, improve connectivity, optimize queue loads and iterate on feedback. Dauntless hit many milestones in Week 1, and here are the stats!

Players worldwide logged over 20 million hunts, surpassing 15 million hours played while 60% of hunting parties consisted of cross-platform players. Together Slayers defeated over 13 million Behemoths. Dauntless launched May 21 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Epic Games store with true cross-play and cross-progression support. Also known as “One Dauntless,” the vision Phoenix Labs set forth to achieve, is a first for the games industry.
