We last heard anything substantial about RF Project, the mobile and PC MMORPG based on the original sci-fi PC title, back in January 2022. Today, we got an update from a developer conference at the annual GDC (Game Developers Conference) where Netmarble leaders were in attendance to talk about their projects, mainly about their blockchain platform Marblex 2.0. According to their speeches and the slide below, RF Project has been confirmed to be a blockchain/ Web3/ Play-To-Earn title.
Most of the lecture was about Web3 games earning money, players owning digital assets, game tokens and whatnot, the usual talk about digital ownership, and how Marblex is going to be different and change the Web3 gaming landscape.
