Japanese publisher DMM Games recently announced that Skyforge, its latest Free-to-Play MMORPG, will enter Open Beta in Japan on October 11. Developed by Russian studio Allods Team, Skyforge will be one of the rare sci-fi themed PC online game to hit the local market. Gamers who pre-register will obtain 1 of 3 different-colored Shiba Inu pets. Skyforge offers a unique mix of sci-fi and fantasy and RPG fans can look forward to 16 different classes that they can switch between on demand. The global English server can be accessed here.
DMM Games did not specifically mention any Japan-exclusive content, but highlighted the Sengoku-style armor costume on its official Twitter page for both male and female characters. Other than claiming more localized costumes are in the works, a dragon motif mount was also teased, though I am not sure if it is available in the English server yet.
