Earlier today, Pearl Abyss held a media conference in Taiwan to announce the local launch date of Black Desert Mobile and reveal the 6th starting character which even the South Korean server did not have. First off, Black Desert Mobile will begin pre-registration in Taiwan on 18 July, followed by the official launch on Google Play and App Store on 29 August. Pearl Abyss acknowledged that Taiwan was chosen as the second stop for Black Desert Mobile as the company is already self-publishing Black Desert Online there for the past few years.
The 6th playable starting character was revealed to be the Tamer, a class which can also be found in Black Desert Online. There are now nearly 60 staff in the Black Desert Mobile development team who spent around 2 years condensing 30 GB worth of content from the PC version into the 3 GB mobile version. The minimum requirement to play Black Desert Mobile is an iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S5 with LTE connection. Stay tuned for updates!
