Progressing through Clash of Clans can be expensive in terms of time and resources. Town Hall upgrades, Hero Equipment, research, walls, and other improvements all demand huge quantities of Gold, Elixir, Dark Elixir, Gems, and Ores. Fortunately, you do not have to buy everything.
Supercell provides numerous ways to earn free resources, Magic Items, cosmetics, event currencies, and Gems through normal gameplay, limited-time events, the Supercell Store, and occasional promotional campaigns. Here are the legitimate ways to collect free rewards in Clash of Clans and how to claim them.
1. Supercell Reward Links
Reward links are one of the easiest ways to claim promotional freebies when Supercell releases them. These are special links connected to limited-time campaigns, collaborations, esports activities, and community events. Depending on the promotion, they can provide resources, Magic Items, Ores, event rewards, decorations, or other bonuses. Unlike traditional codes, you usually do not need to type anything manually.
How to Claim Reward Links
Open the official reward link on a device where Clash of Clans is installed. The link should redirect you to the game and present a confirmation screen. Confirm the reward and it will be delivered to the appropriate account.
Keep in mind that promotional links are normally time-limited, usable only once, restricted to certain regions or accounts in some cases, and tied to a specific promotional campaign. Do not assume an old reward link still works simply because you find it on another website. These promotions can expire quickly.
2. Redeem Supercell Store Codes
Supercell also releases Store Codes through official channels, eligible content creators, esports events, and other promotions. These are different from Creator Codes. A Creator Code simply attributes qualifying purchases to a creator. A Store Code is a promotional code that can actually provide a reward.
How to Redeem a Store Code
Go to the official Supercell Store and select Clash of Clans. Log in using the Supercell ID connected to your village, then scroll to the bottom of the store page until you find Redeem a Store Code. Enter the code exactly as provided and submit it.
If the code is valid, the reward will be assigned to your account and delivered according to the promotion. Store Codes can expire, may have regional restrictions, and can sometimes fail if your relevant inventory is full.
3. Check the Supercell Store Bonus Track
The Supercell Store is useful even when you are not specifically looking for a promotional code. The Store Bonus Track provides additional rewards as you earn Store Bonus Points. These points can come from purchases and, where available, completing store challenges connected to your game activity.
The reward track can include Magic Items and other useful in-game benefits. The important distinction is that the Bonus Track is not simply a permanent monthly Gem giveaway. Its rewards and requirements can change with the game season.
How to Check It
Open the official Supercell Store and sign in with your Supercell ID. Select Clash of Clans and check the current Bonus Track. Complete any available free challenges and claim rewards as they become available. The track resets with new game seasons, so unused bonuses should be claimed before they expire.
4. Complete Season Challenges
Season Challenges are one of the most consistent sources of free progression rewards. They provide objectives for normal gameplay, such as completing battles, upgrading buildings, using troops, or participating in other activities.

6. Play Clan Games
Clan Games are one of the best recurring sources of free Magic Items and resources. Players complete challenges to earn points for themselves and their Clan. Players who reach the personal point cap can also select an additional reward from the available tiers.
7. Check the Trader Every Week
The Trader is another easy source of useful items. His offers rotate weekly, with new deals arriving on a regular schedule. Some offers cost Gems or Raid Medals, but the Trader can also provide free items.
Supercell specifically notes that the Trader may have free offers from time to time. Because the shop resets every Tuesday (at 08:00 UTC), checking in on Tuesdays is the best way to claim your weekly freebies. These can include useful Potions or other items, so checking the Trader costs almost nothing and can occasionally save you a valuable resource. Always check the listed currency before confirming a purchase.
8. Watch for Twitch Drops
Twitch Drops are another legitimate source of free rewards, but they are not permanently active. Supercell has run special Clash of Clans Twitch campaigns where viewers could earn rewards by watching participating streams for specific periods. Past campaigns have offered items such as Resource Potions, Power Potions, Glowy Ore, Cookie Medals, and other rewards.
How Twitch Drops Work
When Supercell announces an active Twitch Drops campaign, connect your Supercell ID to your Twitch account through the designated campaign page. Watch an eligible Clash of Clans stream with Drops enabled for the required amount of time.
Once you reach a reward milestone, claim the item through your Twitch inventory. The reward should then synchronize with your game account. Because these campaigns are temporary, only follow this process when an official Drops campaign is actually running.
9. Earn Free Gems Through Achievements
You do not need promotional codes to earn Gems. Clash of Clans provides Gems through its Achievement system. Many achievements reward Gems when you reach specific milestones, such as destroying buildings, completing objectives, or progressing through different parts of the game. These rewards accumulate naturally over time. Check your Achievement list periodically to see which objectives are close to completion.
10. Clear Obstacles and Gem Boxes

12. Clan Wars and Clan War Leagues
Clan Wars and Clan War Leagues provide additional rewards through participation and performance. Clan War League progression can award League Medals, which can be spent in the League Shop on useful resources and Magic Items. Saving these medals for a specific upgrade or item can be more useful than spending them immediately on whatever happens to be available.
13. Raid Weekends and Raid Medals
The Clan Capital provides another recurring reward source through Raid Weekends. Members attack Capital districts to earn Raid Medals, which can then be spent through the Trader. Even players who mainly care about the Home Village can benefit because these rewards can be converted into useful resources and items for broader progression.
14. Check the Free Shop Offers
The in-game Shop (which is different from the Trader) occasionally contains free items during seasonal promotions, collaborations, and other special campaigns. These offers can include resources, temporary boosts, decorations, or other bonuses. Make a habit of checking the Shop during major events and updates, particularly when the game introduces a new seasonal feature.
How to Avoid Fake Clash of Clans Free Reward Sites
The popularity of free Gem searches has also created a huge number of scam websites. Supercell explicitly warns players not to trust websites promising free Gems in exchange for account credentials or passwords.
A legitimate reward should never require you to hand over your Supercell ID password. Be especially suspicious of websites offering unlimited gems, unlimited gold, or gem generators. Any download that claims to “unlock” free currency is a scam. Surveys requiring account credentials is another scam. Never enter your Supercell ID information into an unofficial reward site. If a reward is legitimate, it should come through the game, the official Supercell Store, or an official promotional channel.
Clash of Clans provides far more free rewards than you might expect, but they are spread across several different systems. The key is simply knowing where to look. Check the Event Hub, visit the Supercell Store, keep up with Clan activities, collect passive Gems, and claim free offers before they expire.
Most importantly, remember that legitimate free rewards never require your account password. You do not need to spend money (or take unnecessary risks) to make steady progress in Clash of Clans.
