Here is everything landing in the game this season.
The Main Attraction: Mega Rayquaza ex Arrives
When the expansion drops, the new booster packs highlight Mega Rayquaza ex as the ultimate pull, accompanied by a full lineup of flying and dragon-themed Pokémon designed to shake up the current meta.
To mark the dragon legendary’s arrival, players can also grab matching cosmetics, including exclusive card backdrops and binder covers starting August 1st.
Smart QoL Tweaks: Deck Sharing & Guaranteed Pulls
Alongside the new card set, the patch introduces three major quality-of-life upgrades aimed at fixing common player headaches:
-
2D Deck Sharing: You can now convert your deck lists into 2D pattern codes. Scan a friend’s code to copy their exact deck recipe instantly without manually searching through your collection.
-
Expanded Card Dex Syncing: Duplicate cards that exist across multiple set lists will now automatically register in your Card Dex for every relevant pack, retroactively applying to cards already sitting in your binder.
-
Pity System Buff: When opening booster packs from the same expansion, fulfilling specific conditions will trigger a guaranteed pull of a ♦♦♦♦ rarity or higher card on your next pack.
Packed Summer Calendar: Events & Free Loot
The arrival of Ruler of the Skies kicks off a three-month seasonal roadmap running straight through late October:
-
Handy Card Collection Missions (Late July – Late October): Complete basic collection tasks to claim top-tier Trainer cards like Leaf, Sabrina, and Red to bolster your deck strategies.
-
Summer Celebration (Late July – Early August): Tackle event missions and step into event battles to earn bonus booster packs and essential crafting items.
-
Ruler of the Skies Emblem Event (Early to Mid-August): Test your skills in competitive matches. Accumulating win milestones earns you showoff profile emblems and extra Shinedust.
-
Community Week (Mid-August): Focus on card trading and social features to net trade hourglasses and exclusive deck accessories.
-
Mega Houndoom ex Drop Event (Late August): Take down solo bosses to earn B Series Vol. 11 promo packs.
-
Wonder Pick & Deluxe Returns (Late August): Pick up rare Pachirisu and Beldum cards during a targeted Wonder Pick run, alongside the temporary return of Deluxe Pack: ex booster packs.
