With the “First Impression” test phase coming up for Blade & Soul China on 16th August, online e-shops are selling activation codes for the game. No surprise there, but didn’t Tencent Games announced that there will be no keys?
It is strange how players still trust these online vendors with hundreds of dollars with a “pre-order”. A quick check revealed that keys are selling for as high as CNY 1,000, which is over USD 150.00.
Of course, these might be the vendors themselves using alternate accounts to “buy”, but I have no doubt there will be a number which are “scammed” players. Of course, the prices above are nothing compared to the Korean Closed Beta, where keys on the China websites were being sold for USD 300.00.
