Since working with Electronic Arts on the highly-successful FIFA Online 3 in South Korea, Nexon has announced a Free-to-Play version of Titanfall as part of the ongoing collaboration. Need For Speed EDGE will arrive first, with Closed Beta starting on 26 November and scheduled to launch next year. Similarly, Need For Speed EDGE will also be Free-to-Play, catering the Asian gamers.
Need For Speed EDGE is developed not by Nexon, but SPEARHEAD, formerly known as EA Korea. The official description reads “the Frostbite engine provides next-gen graphics and physics that are optimized for online play.” Announced features include Car Trade, Car Tuning, Car Manufacturing, along with gameplay modes such as Speed Battle, Item Battle, Time Attack, and Hot Pursuit.
