First announced back in 2020 and teased last year, renowned Korean action games developer Action Square today revealed a first look at the gameplay of Kingdom: The Blood. Set to launch worldwide on mobile and PC, you can notice some authentic combat actions such as slicing off zombies’ heads and parrying of weapons. It was mentioned that the movements of a real-life swordsman with more than 15 years of experience were captured using motion capture technology to implement traditional Korean swordsmanship for the realization of 3D characters.
The story is still unknown now, and how it ties to the original Netflix series. It also puzzles me how humans and zombies are sharing the same PVE area. Other than PVE boss raids, there will be PVP as well. Kingdom: The Blood is crafted using Unreal Engine 4, with no launch scheduled confirmed. Stay tuned for more updates!
