Less than a month after Gamania announced the closure of Dragon Nest Taiwan on 11th November 2013, it was announced to the media earlier today that the new Taiwan publisher will be Gameflier, the country’s biggest online games publisher.
The relaunched Dragon Nest will begin operations in mid-November, just days after Gamania closes its servers. Gameflier promised that Dragon Nest Taiwan will be on par in terms of content as other servers’. The company will also be publishing developer Eyedentity Games’ other title, Dungeon Striker.
This seems like a major uppercut to Gamania, which has been struggling in the face of competition from Gameflier and Garena. Gamania recently closed down operations in North America and China while shutting several games in Taiwan.
