Counter:Side was first launched by Nexon in South Korea back in 2020, and it has since started the Closed Beta phase in Southeast Asia under publisher ZlongGames. While the gameplay of Counter:Side might look unique, it is actually quite a familiar system found in many games.
Basically, players prepare a team before each battle, just like how Hearthstone players prepare their card decks. During the game, players will need to strategically summon various characters based on energy costs and their abilities, similar to games such as Clash Royale.
