When an expired code is entered, the game displays the message “The event has ended.” This means the redemption period connected to that promotion is over. Entering the same code again will not change the result.
New codes may be released through official social media pages, developer announcements, special in-game events, promotions, holidays, or major updates. Rewards can vary between promotions. Previous offers have included Gold, gems, speedups, generals, resource chests, research materials, troop-related items, and other supplies used while developing an empire.
How to Redeem Codes in Evony: The King’s Return?
The redemption option is found inside the game’s Settings menu. Here are the steps to follow when a new promo code becomes available:
- Launch Evony: The King’s Return on your device.
- Tap the menu button, represented by three dots, on the right side of the screen.
- Select Settings from the menu options.
- Find the Redeem option and tap it.
- Enter one active promo code into the designated field.
- Tap Confirm to redeem the code and receive your reward.
After a valid code is accepted, its rewards are sent to your in-game mail. Open the mailbox and collect the items so they are added to your account. Most codes can only be used once per account.
Redeem Codes Not Working?
The message shown by the game can help explain why a redemption attempt failed. Check these points before trying the code again:
- The Event Has Ended: If the game says “The event has ended,” the code belonged to a promotion that is no longer active. It cannot provide a reward after the event closes.
- Enter a Valid Code: The message “Please input a correct redeem code” means the game does not recognize the submitted entry as a valid code. Check the full code before confirming it again.
- Check Every Character: Promo codes can be case-sensitive. Make sure the capital letters, lowercase letters, and numbers are entered exactly as originally provided. Remove any spaces added before or after the code.
- Remember Previous Claims: Most codes can only be redeemed once on the same account. A code that was already collected will not provide the same items a second time.
- Consider Technical Problems: Server maintenance, lag, or synchronization issues may interrupt redemption temporarily. If a newly released code is confirmed to be active, close the game and try it again later.
