Moonton has officially released Advanced Server Patch 2.2.06 for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). This patch brings significant balance tweaks to core heroes, a major redesign for Survival Mode, and new collector systems. The new patch is currently available to test server players and is expected to be active for everyone shortly. Let’s take a closer look at what’s coming (and what’s changing) with 2.2.06.
Key Highlights of Patch 2.2.06
1. Hero Adjustments & Meta Rebalancing
Several heroes received updates that will affect their early and mid-game performance (and therefore the meta).
- Karrie (Buff): This hero’s Attack Speed Growth has been increased, and Turrets can now trigger her Passive. Her Ultimate now grants Shield instead of Attack Speed. Her Survivability has also been significantly increased.
- Lukas (Buff): He received a stat boost and improved scaling. His base form is now more effective.
- Sun (Adjustment): His second skill can now detect enemy heroes on his dash trajectory. The cooldowns of his Doppelganger abilities have also been reduced by an average of 2 seconds.
- Gord (Adjustment): Some effect changes have been made to his ultimate sphere. Both allies and enemies will now receive clearer feedback for this ultimate.
2. Survival Mode Returns
Moonton has added some classic elements back to Survival Mode:
- Annihilation Tide: This is the safe zone mechanic. It constantly shrinks over time, and players outside of it take damage.
- Evacuation Mechanics: When only one squad remains, an evacuation zone appears under one of the team members. This makes tactical exits easier.
- Visual Enhancements: Heroes equipped with high-level gear increase in physical size (per item) by 10%. You can also now see a real-time survivor counter on the screen.
3. Card Brawl Arcade Updates
This arcade mode has received several updates, including new combat card abilities and pacing adjustments:
- Rapid Healing: Transforms healing into reduced cooldowns.
- Spread the Love: Can trigger chain healing for nearby allies.
- Blood Tracking: Grants Movement Speed to nearby low HP allies.
- Eternal Evil: Provides 3 seconds of immunity when taking fatal damage.

4. System Upgrades & Quality of Life
TheMLabel system is activated with this patch, which is a skin tracking and cosmetic showcase system. When you activate an entire collection, you earn various achievements. These can provide you with profile privileges and extra lore entries. In addition, players can now enter practice sessions together, meaning you don’t have to fight alone: You can challenge the AI with your friends.

Once the testing process is complete, Patch 2.2.06 will also be active on the global live server, and you will be able to download the new update from the Google Play Store.
