Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is set to receive a major content update in August 2026. According to recent leaks, players can expect new skins, returning collaboration events, hero balance adjustments, and meta-changing jungle nerfs throughout the month.
Here’s everything we know so far. As always, keep in mind that this information comes from data mining and social media teasers, meaning the final update could differ from what has leaked.
New Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Event: Jujutsu Kaisen Return
The returning Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration is expected to begin on August 7 and will once again bring several anime-inspired skins to the game. This anime crossover will come with 4 new skins:
- Yin “Yuji Itadori”
- Julian “Megumi Fushiguro”
- Melissa “Nobara Kugisaki”
- Xavier “Satoru Gojo”
The collaboration is expected to run for approximately 30 days and will include two Premium Supply login/recharge phases.
August will also bring back the Aspirants Unite Resale event alongside the game’s 10th Anniversary celebration. The resale event features Ruby and Angela skins in its main reward pool, while the anniversary event lets players earn free Epic skins for Nana, Gloo, and Kadita by completing daily quests.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang August 2026 Skins & Skin Revamps
Leaks also suggest that several existing skins are receiving visual upgrades. Miya’s Legend skin is expected to gain new energy trail effects and butterfly-themed animations. Similar revamps are reportedly planned for Yi Sun-shin’s Lone Destructor, Yu Zhong’s Blood Serpent, and Franco’s Legend skin. Other skins expected to arrive throughout August include:
- Aulus “Starwake Corsair”: Available from August 1st, comes with its own unique trail effect.
- Balmond “Titan”: Will be offered as part of the premium monthly Collector tier.
- Odette “Virgo”: Will return on August 23rd, for a limited time as it does every year.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Nerfs, Adjustments, Balance Changes
Beyond cosmetics, August’s update is also expected to introduce major balance changes that could significantly reshape the current meta. Most of the adjustments target jungle tanks, slowing their early-game clear speed and reducing their overall dominance.
- Baxia is being nerfed: its base damage, max HP, and magic power scaling will now be much lower. It will also no longer have bonus damage against jungle creeps.
- Akai is another character being nerfed. Its Mark will now completely disappear after a basic attack.
- Fredrinn’s early-game tankiness will also be affected by nerfs. Its base HP and bonus damage against jungle creeps will be significantly reduced.

Additionally, the following adjustments and balance changes will be included in the August 2026 update:
- Zhuxin’s cast range will be reduced & its post-cc burst damage will be increased.
- Minsitthar’s ultimate cooldown will be reduced to a fixed 45 seconds at all levels.
- Nolan’s energy regeneration will be increased.
- Floryn’s skill 2 mana cost will be reduced (from 90 to 70).
These changes will significantly alter the jungle tier list and meta. Baxia, Akai, and Fredrinn will likely drop a tier (from S to A). This means assassins like Ling and Hayabusa could move up a tier, becoming the preferred jungle picks because they can clear camps much faster. In the support role, Floryn and Minsitthar will move up a tier. Zhuxin may become less popular in the mid lane, as the reduced cast range forces the hero to play closer to opponents.
We’ll have a clearer picture of the meta once the August 2026 update officially launches. Until then, these projections should be treated as educated guesses based on currently available leaks.
Remember that you can play Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on your PC with keyboard and mouse controls on a larger screen. With BlueStacks, you can easily do this and enjoy a much more pleasant gaming experience.
