MARVEL SNAP: Hero Strategy CCG – New Cards & Abilities

MARVEL SNAP: Hero Strategy CCG launched the “Fractured Frontier” season in August 2026, bringing new cards and a new mechanic to the game. According to data miner reports, September 2026 could introduce at least four more cards, some of which may have a significant impact on the meta.

August 2026 “Fractured Frontier” Cards & Abilities

The season takes place on Earth-383 and features a post-apocalyptic wasteland theme. Most of the new cards added to the roster are new variants of older heroes, but there are also some new faces. As usual, Premium and Super Premium passes provide access to several of the season’s new cards, with a Series 5 SNAP Pack also included as a bonus.

Before moving on to the new cards, let’s talk about the new mechanic: Quickdraw. It is a new card effect that activates when you play a card on the same turn you draw it. If a card has Quickdraw and you play it immediately after drawing it, you trigger an additional bonus effect. This could have a significant impact on the way matches are played. Instead of relying entirely on predictable turn-by-turn planning, players will need to pay closer attention to their draws and adapt their strategy accordingly.

The new Fractured Frontier cards are:

CARD/CHARACTER ON REVEAL EFFECT QUICKDRAW EFFECT
Thanos (Premium Pass) Fires all loaded Shots Loads again
Jane Foster (Super Premium Pass) Judges 4 other random characters, gives +1 Power (allies) or -1 Power (enemies) Judges again
Psylocke Cards in your hand that cost 5 or more cost 1 less Your whole hand instead
Red Wolf Gains +1 Power for each card in your hand Gives all cards in your hand +1 Power
Death Revives all your destroyed cards
Red Hulk Loses 1 Power for each enemy card Gains 1 Power instead
Doctor Octopus Puts the leftmost card in your hand on top of your deck, draws a random character, and gives both +3 Power
Hellcow At the end of turn, afflicts all other cards with -1 Power

Upcoming September 2026 Datamined Highlights

The September season is expected to tie into the Axis event, which will reportedly reverse the alignments of several characters. According to data miner reports, we can expect to see the following:

  • Superior Iron Man: Increases cost reductions by 2x and boosts his own power
  • Kluh: Applies a discount to a random card
  • Rogue (Scion of Division variant): Steals the text box of the opponent’s highest cost card
  • Scarlet Witch (Queen of Chaos variant): Triggers a random skill with a cost of 0

Keep in mind that none of these September cards or abilities has been officially confirmed. The information comes from data miners and may change before the cards are released.
