Whether you’re building a team around elite strikers or trying to maximize your training sessions, choosing the right characters in Blue Lock Project: World Champion (PWC) can heavily affect your progression.
Unlike many other gacha games, character rarity isn’t the only factor that matters here. Training multipliers, duplicate copies, support cards, and team synergy all influence your experience and raw power.

Some 3-star units dominate both matches and training, while others only shine in specific situations. To help you decide where to invest your resources, we’ve put together this complete Blue Lock PWC tier list.
Tier Summary Overview
Before taking a closer look at each player, here’s a quick summary of the current rankings.

S-Tier: The Ultimate Strikers & Current Meta
S-tier characters combine outstanding growth rates with exceptional in-game performance.
1. Yoichi Isagi
Best Role: Forward / Central Midfielder
One of the strongest characters in Blue Lock PWC is also one of the easiest to develop. The free version of Isagi is surprisingly powerful because duplicate copies can be obtained more easily than premium characters. Since duplicates directly affect progression, Isagi often outperforms much stronger units. His balanced attributes make him useful in almost every game mode.
Strengths:
- Excellent growth potential
- Easy access to duplicates
- Strong all-around statistics
2. Rin Itoshi
Best Role: Primary Striker
Rin continues to dominate the offensive meta. He possesses some of the highest shooting statistics in the game, and his critical-hit bonuses allow him to convert opportunities that other players would miss. When combined with proper training, Rin becomes one of the most reliable strikers in Blue Lock PWC.
Strengths:
- Elite shooting attributes
- Outstanding critical-hit bonuses
- Excellent late-game scaling
3. Meguru Bachira
Best Role: Midfielder / Winger
Bachira isn’t just an exceptional playmaker, he’s also one of the best training partners available. His passive abilities increase movement speed and improve energy recovery during training sessions, making him valuable both on and off the field.
Strengths:
- Excellent mobility
- Valuable training bonuses
- Outstanding passing abilities
4. Michael Kaiser
Best role: Striker
Kaiser combines technical ability with explosive finishing. His offensive toolkit allows him to create scoring opportunities from almost any position, making him one of the most dangerous attackers in competitive matches. Although obtaining duplicates can be challenging, the investment is well worth it.
Strengths:
- Exceptional finishing ability
- Strong offensive positioning
- Performs well in both PvE and competitive matches
A-Tier: Specialists & Top Performers
A-tier players may not be as dominant as S-Tier characters, but they can outperform them when paired with the right teammates and support cards.
- Seishiro Nagi: Nagi offers incredible technical growth. His maximum potential is extremely high, but unlocking it requires proper team support and optimized training sessions.
- Rensuke Kunigami: Kunigami excels as a traditional power striker. His physical attributes and long-range shooting make him particularly effective against defensive formations.
- Hyoma Chigiri: Speed defines Chigiri’s playstyle. His acceleration allows him to bypass defenders and create opportunities through sheer mobility.
- Tabito Karasu: Karasu’s greatest strength lies in his versatility. He can adapt to multiple team compositions and provide solid performances in both offensive and defensive situations.
B & C Tier: Situational & Early Game Fillers
- B-Tier (Barou, Reo, Gagamaru, Zantetsu): Barou, Reo, Gagamaru, and Zantetsu remain valuable during the early stages of progression. Gagamaru deserves special attention because he’s one of the strongest defensive specialists available. These characters can comfortably fill roster gaps until you acquire stronger alternatives.
- C-Tier (Base 1-Star and 2-Star Units): Characters such as Iemon, Igarashi, and Naruhaya quickly fall behind once 3-star units become available. However, they still have niche uses. You may need them for limited events, character-specific missions, collection rewards, and early-game progression.
Blue Lock PWC: How to Reroll (Step-by-Step)
Rerolling in Blue Lock PWC is quite simple because the game comes with a built-in account deletion system. So, you don’t need to reinstall the app or manage multiple guest accounts to reset.
- Start with a Guest Account: Do not link your primary account during launch, log in as a Guest. Play or skip through the initial cutscenes and complete the mandatory match.
- Complete or Skip the Tutorial: Finish the tutorial and unlock the main menu. Future rerolls allow you to skip most tutorial sequences, reducing the process to only a few minutes.
- Claim All Inbox & Event Rewards: Open your Mailbox and claim all pre-registration rewards, daily login bonuses, and compensation gems.
- Summon on the Priority Banners: Focus on 3-Star Characters and Support Cards. Summon any free 3-Star Characters first. Spend your Blue Gems on S-Tier characters or high-tier Support Cards.
- Evaluate Your Pulls: Check the results. If satisfied, link your account via settings.
- Reset & Start Over: If you are not happy with the results, go back to the Title Screen, tap Menu, select “Delete Account / Account Deletion” and confirm. Start the game again and repeat the entire process.
Reroll Strategy & New Player Tips
- Target Bonuses Over Pure Raw Ratings: Many beginners focus exclusively on match statistics. But characters with strong training bonuses often provide greater long-term value than players with slightly higher offensive ratings.
- Focus on Duplicates: A duplicate-enhanced character will almost always outperform a single-copy character. Additional copies unlock higher level caps, additional traits, and better growth potential. Do not underestimate the value of duplicates.
- Max Out Free Characters: Many players abandon free characters as soon as they get rarer units. However, a fully upgraded free Isagi, for example, can remain competitive for a surprisingly long time. Building your setup around free characters allows you to save resources for future banners.
What Should You Target When Rerolling?
| PRIORITY | IDEAL RESULTS | WHY? |
| Top | 2x S-Tier 3-Star Players (e.g., Rin Itoshi + Bachira) | Elite striker and elite training partner |
| Alternative | 1x S-Tier Player + 1x SSR Support Card | Strong long-term progression |
| F2P | Duplicates of top 3-Star units | Higher level caps and stronger traits |
Building a balanced roster in Blue Lock PWC takes time, especially as game updates introduce new training cards, characters, and events. Focus on securing at least one top-tier striker and a reliable training support unit early on. Once your main squad is established, prioritize leveling up duplicate copies and optimizing your training strategies to stay competitive in both story modes and PvP matches.
