Netmarble’s sci-fi MMORPG continues the story and large-scale faction warfare of RF Online while adding freely switchable Biosuits, aerial movement, and modern cross-platform support. If you have been waiting for the wider rollout, you can now enter its mechanical universe across mobile and PC.
When Was the RF Online Next Global Release Date?
RF ONLINE NEXT launched globally on June 16, 2026, according to Netmarble’s official release-date announcement. Since the servers opened at 9:00 p.m. UTC-5, the date had already changed to June 17 across Europe and much of Asia. This time-zone difference explains why Netmarble’s subsequent global launch announcement carries a June 17 date.
The worldwide version followed established service in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Its new rollout covers North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and additional regions, with expanded language support that includes English, French, German, Spanish, Indonesian, and Thai.
You can access the free-to-play MMORPG on Android through BlueStacks, Google Play, and on iOS through the App Store. Windows players can use the Netmarble Launcher or Epic Games Store.
What Can You Expect From RF Online Next?
RF ONLINE NEXT is the official sequel to RF Online and takes place in an expansive universe where advanced machinery has become central to survival. Its story follows heroes known as Scions as they enter a conflict connected to Novus, the Holy Stone, and three competing factions.
Combat revolves around Biosuits that function as interchangeable classes. You can change suits to adjust your role while retaining equipment and skill growth, which allows one character to respond to different encounters. The available options support close-range attacks, ranged firepower, defense, mobility, and team support.
Each Biosuit can also fly, so battles move between the ground and air. That mobility works alongside Sacred Weapons such as the piloted MAU, the long-range Launcher, and the summoned Animus. These systems appear in large faction battles as well as World Boss Raids, where groups must coordinate against planet-level threats.
Mining War and the First Major Update
Mining War arrived through the game’s first major global update on July 1. Before the main conflict, top guilds enter a Skirmish for the right to represent their faction. The winning representatives then advance to a three-way Faction War built around territory, resources, and the destruction of opposing Excavators.
The update also introduced Albern Crater, an Outer Planet region where players from different servers meet. Alongside this cross-server area, Netmarble added the Xenogeyser boss, new Expansion equipment, Epic-grade skills, and the five-player Arcane Trials dungeon.
