PUBG Mobile is bringing Spider-Man back to Erangel through a collaboration with the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie. The limited-time event arrives in Version 4.5 on July 30, 2026, at 02:00 UTC and remains available until September 1 at 20:59 UTC. Its release falls one day before the film opens in cinemas on July 31.
This collaboration follows PUBG Mobile’s 2022 Spider-Man: No Way Home crossover. The new event revisits the earlier web-shooting concept while drawing its setting and rewards from Peter Parker’s latest movie.
Swing, Climb, and Track Enemies With Spider-Man Powers
Peter Parker’s Gloves give you access to web swinging and a web attack. Web swinging lets you move between tall buildings and other suitable structures, so you can reach rooftops or reposition without staying at ground level. The web attack deals damage and slows its target. Repeated hits can ensnare an opponent and temporarily stop them from moving.
Peter Parker’s Hoodie adds wall climbing and enhanced aerial movement. When you jump against a wall, you can begin climbing and move across vertical surfaces. The hoodie also activates Spider Sense, which detects footprints left by other players.
These tracks can display the player’s ID and when each footprint was created. It will help you follow opponents through nearby areas.
You may also find Spider-Man-themed supply crates during matches. A Web Grenade joins the available equipment as well, which creates a webbed area that can restrict anyone caught inside.
Visit New Spider-Man Locations on Erangel
Erangel receives several crossover locations built around interactive scenes and vertical traversal. Skyline Plaza gives you a city-like area where the swinging and climbing mechanics have more room to function. Peter Parker’s Apartment provides a smaller location filled with objects and references connected to the character.
Other areas feature scripted encounters. The Rescue Photo Zone includes a Spider-Man rescue sequence followed by an in-game photo opportunity, while the Train Rescue Sequence recreates one of the character’s familiar heroic moments. You can also find a Cemetery Tribute Zone and additional photo spots across the map.
Complete Challenges and Create World of Wonder Maps
The Brand New Day Quiz Challenge opens alongside the collaboration and offers themed items such as an avatar, Avatar Frame, and collaboration ticket. Players who log in and complete matches during August 1 and 2 can also receive the permanent Spider Descent arrival emote.
World of Wonder receives a Spider-Man: Brand New Day Plaza template alongside themed maps and creation resources. The template supports Peter Parker’s Gloves and Hoodie, allowing creators to build custom web-swinging stages, rooftop courses, and crossover battles.
