Smilegate has opened mobile pre-registration for Eclipse: The Awakening in South Korea. The campaign began on July 23, 2026, through Google Play, the App Store, and Smilegate’s STOVE platform.
Developed by NPIXEL, Eclipse: The Awakening is an Unreal Engine 5 MMORPG planned for PC, Android, and iOS with cross-platform support. Smilegate has confirmed a September 2026 South Korean launch, while the Korean App Store currently lists September 30 as the expected date. An updated international release schedule has yet to be announced.
Eclipse: The Awakening Pre-Registration Rewards
Everyone who completes an eligible pre-registration can receive a Rare Transcendence Summon Ticket, a Rare Weapon Appearance Selection Ticket, a registration token, and additional growth materials after launch.
Smilegate has also prepared cumulative rewards tied to the total number of registrations. The milestones include Enhancement Crystal Selection Boxes at 100,000 registrations and Guild Research Support Certificates at 300,000.
Reaching 500,000 adds Weapon Appearance Summon Tickets II and a consumables box. The one-million milestone provides one million gold, five Transcendence Summon Tickets II, and another consumables package.
A separate Korean KakaoTalk campaign offers an exclusive in-game skin and access to prize drawings. The official event terms state that participants must be at least 19 years old and that each account can claim its registration reward once.
What to Expect From the MMOLite Progression System
Eclipse: The Awakening follows what its developers call an “MMOLite” philosophy. This approach retains character progression, cooperative activities, strategic combat, and competitive content while reducing the pressure created by long sessions and fixed login schedules.
The Sanctuary system supports that direction by accumulating gold, experience, summoning tickets, and other growth resources while you are offline. You can also develop Constellations to improve their support effects and align them with your preferred progression path.
A configurable 24-hour AI mode can continue selected hunting and resource-gathering activities after you log out. Active play will still offer greater efficiency and more tactical control, so the automated system serves as progression support rather than a complete replacement for regular gameplay.
Guilds form another major part of progression. Members can grow together, complete weekly missions, and contribute to wider server objectives even if they choose to avoid direct PvP.
Four Classes and Flexible Combat Builds
The launch roster consists of Fighter, Ranger, Sorceress, and Assassin. Each class supports two weapons that change its role and combat style.
- Fighters can defend the frontline with a one-handed sword and shield or break through enemies with a greatsword.
- Rangers use bows for ranged pressure, while crossbows and traps help control enemy movement.
- Sorceresses can deal area damage with a staff or support allies with an orb.
- Assassins switch between a katana and dual daggers for different close-range approaches.
Build customization continues through Skill Fusion, which combines two abilities into a new skill with altered range, effects, or attack connections. The Authority system adds Stigmata and Sacred Relics to the setup, so players using the same class and weapon can still create different builds.
Play Eclipse: The Awakening on PC With BlueStacks
Once the Android version launches in your region, you can play Eclipse: The Awakening on PC with BlueStacks. A larger display can make combat effects, menus, and crowded encounters easier to follow, while keyboard and mouse controls provide a more familiar setup for longer MMORPG sessions.
BlueStacks can also help you maintain stable performance without relying on your phone’s battery. Its control-mapping options let you assign frequently used abilities and menu actions to convenient keys, which can make combat and character management more comfortable.
