Com2uS’ Summoners War IP has grown over the years, starting with the original mobile game Sky Arena and followed by Lost Centuria. The in-development Chronicles is the only MMORPG in the lineup, and one which takes place before the events of the other 2 games. It is also the game which will provide players the best view of the overall world, as mentioned by the development team in the latest interview video seen below.
In a nutshell, players start of with 1 of three characters, each based on classic RPG roles such as tank, support, and DPS mage. Each character will eventually be able to recruit monsters, with 3 main ones actively following them and taking part in battles. 4 active characters sounds like a mini squad, and I do like the appeal of that! There is currently no launch date for Summoners War: Chronicles, but a global launch might be coming soon this winter. Stay tuned!
