Japanese games publisher GungHo Online Entertainment today announced it will soon launch its new mobile MMORPG, Ragnarok Masters, for the local market. The game is actually a renamed version of Ragnarok M: Eternal Love, which has seen immense success in Southeast Asia since last year. Perhaps Japan is specifically chosen as the final stop due to the PC version’s popularity there, and the team did not want to erode the player base. There is no scheduled launch date yet to Ragnarok Masters, though a short stress test will be held for Android devices tomorrow for a couple of days. What a weird game title though!
