Almost all anime series in Japan these days will receive a mobile game launch, and sadly most of them are just blatant low-quality titles with the IP holders looking to make a quick cash grab. It is a sound business strategy which will incur gamers’ wrath, and Overlord is not able to escape this fate as well. Mass For The Dead is the mobile RPG launched recently based on the popular Overlord IP, and the first 40 minutes is just one of the most boring experiences I ever had in testing mobile games. Mass For The Dead will not launch overseas, so I won’t explain further. It now has a score of 2.6 on Google Play in Japan.
