Launching in Taiwan a few weeks back, I gave Grand Fantasia Mobile a quick spin. Developed by X-Legend Entertainment, the creator of PC online games such as Grand Fantasia and Aura Kingdom, the game is a team-based action RPG at its core, though most of the combat can be automated. I am surprised X-Legend decided to go with portrait mode, certainly a first for me for the genre.
There are no classes for the main character, with skills and attacks based on whatever weapon is being held. Players would have to gacha for stronger companions, each with a rarity rating like most card-based mobile games. There is PVP, story campaign, and the PVE endless tower which I did not manage to try. None of X-Legend’s mobile games are in English yet, so stay tuned for more updates.
