[Game website] FunPlus, the publisher of top ranking mobile game Dot Arena and worldwide leader in social games, today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with mobile game developer XII Braves. Through this multi-million investment, FunPlus becomes the global publisher of Valiant Force, the flagship mobile RPG from XII Braves. This is definitely a first for Singapore!
This week, a press event at Hard Rock Cafe Singapore to formalize the partnership, attended by media outlets worldwide. Gracing the event were representatives from Media Development Authority (MDA), a government statutory board which develops Singapore’s media industry, and the Games Solution Centre (GSC), an incubator which builds the foundation of Singapore’s games industry.
Moving forward, FunPlus and XII Braves will continue to cooperate on game content development, marketing, social media engagement, and global publishing operations. Valiant Force, an online strategy RPG developed for smart mobile devices, is scheduled to begin its soft-launch in selected regions in July 2016. A global art contest, organized by FunPlus and XII Braves, will begin next week.
