[Closed Beta] Despite sucking at shooter games, I am still attracted to those with PVE content, like Hellgate London. Hounds: The Last Hope entered Closed Beta a few days back, and having followed the game from South Korea to Japan, I couldn’t resist giving it a try. With four playable classes, each with unique skills and weapons, Hounds might just be the casual PVE shooter I was looking for.
Hounds’ setup is pretty simple, with a main player hub for trading, getting quests, crafting and more. PVE campaigns are separated into chapters, and are gradually unlocked by completing quests. There are tons of different alien zombies, some self-exploding, some spawn creeps, some stun and some fire rockets. I have yet to try the PVP mode though. Do note that Closed Beta ends this weekend!
