[Source] Warhammer Online will finally be shutting down on 18th December 2013, after years of operations in the competitive market. The closure coincides with the end of the licensing agreement with IP owner Games Workshop. Both the Korea and Taiwan servers shut down in 2010
Developer EA Mythic tried to salvage something from the supposed failing title by introducing Wrath of Heroes, but that game got shut down even earlier. A new Warhammer 40,000 MMORPG is currently in development, which features totally different settings and lore.
