For those of you who didn’t know, there is a CG movie being made in China based on Dragon Nest’s lore. Yes, that Dragon Nest, developed by Eyedentity Games and owned by Shanda Games. Rise of the Black Dragon is apparently part of a trilogy, similar to The Lord of the Rings.
As you can tell, the movie’s name is “Dragon Nest: Rise of the Black Dragon”, and it will be shown in cinemas worldwide starting from June 2014. This is just 1 small part of Shanda’s plans to full expand the Dragon Nest IP.
